Rename files and folders
Choose a folder, then say what to change. For example:
IMG_0012.JPGremove 4 from the start: 0012.JPG
IMG_0012.JPGand add Smith- before it: Smith-0012.JPG
Scan 001 copy.tifremove 5 from the end: Scan 001.tif
1987 Lakea folder, add trip after it: 1987 Lake trip
Photos in a Lightroom Classic catalog: rename them with the Renamewell plug-in in Lightroom (Library > Plug-in Extras > Rename photos), so Lightroom keeps track of them.
